Karen Iturbide

Karen has a background in international and public relations. She recently completed her Master's degree in Intercultural and International Communication at Royal Roads University. Karen, along with her husband and two teenage sons, has been living in Canada and specifically in Victoria for the past three years.

Karen is convinced most of the global challenges should involve small local solutions. She currently works as the Managing Director of Think Local Victoria, a networking and marketing non-for profit that champions local businesses and organizations of Greater Victoria.

Karen loves visiting bookstores, coffee shops and enjoys outdoor sports.  She is grateful to be welcomed in the beautiful lands of the Lekwungen peoples and all the settlers that have been here before her.
