BC Newcomer Services Program (BCNSP)

Supports social and economic integration of newcomers to the province through the provision of employment, language testing, and training.  

Program Description: 

BCNSP is to support the social and economic integration of newcomers to the BC province who are not eligible for federally funded settlement services. The program aims to help clients achieve their best possible settlement outcomes.

Program Eligibility: 

 

  • Work Permit Holders

  • Study Permit Holders

    • International post-secondary students with valid study permit who cannot access similar services at their Post-Secondary Institution.​

  • Naturalized Canadian Citizens

  • Refugee Claimants**

    • Individuals who have submitted their refugee claim and have received any of the following documents: Confirmation of Referral letter (CoRL), Acknowledgement of Claim (AOC), Refugee Protection Claim Document (RPCD) or Client Application Summary (after submitting a claim via IRCC’s online.​

  • Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) visa holders

  • BC Provincial Nominees or BCPNP Entrepreneur Immigration candidates.
