कार्यक्रम विवरण:
इनेबल प्रोग्राम अप्रवासी और शरणार्थी, बच्चों और 6 वर्ष की आयु के बीच के युवाओं की जरूरतों का समर्थन करता है - 19. हमारी सभी सेवाएँ कनाडाई समाज में परिवर्तन के दौरान उनकी शैक्षणिक, सामाजिक और भावनात्मक जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए डिज़ाइन की गई हैं। एक समग्र, ग्राहक-केंद्रित दृष्टिकोण का उपयोग युवा लोगों से मिलने के लिए किया जाता है जहां वे अपने जीवन में हैं, और उन्हें अपने नए वातावरण में अपनी पहचान, अपनेपन और समुदाय की भावना को बढ़ाने के अवसर प्रदान करते हैं।

Enable Program for Children and Youth
The Enable Program for Children and Youth, serves immigrant and refugee children and youth in the Greater Victoria area through holistic, trauma-informed services that address social, emotional, academic, and mental health needs. Our goal is to foster identity, belonging, and community during their transition into Canadian society.

BC Civic Connect
BC Civic Connect is a new, free program designed for youth (ages 15-30) who want to learn, lead, and take civic action in their communities across B.C. Guided by a Youth Committee, the program is built by youth, for youth ensuring every part of this program reflects the voices and experiences of young people across the province.

YOUTH HEALING CIRCLE
Join us for a safe and supportive healing circle for youth who have experienced discrimination in any form. This gathering offers a space to share stories, release pain, and reconnect with strength and community. Through guided reflection and conversation, we will honour each other's experiences while nurturing resilience and hope for the future.

Newcomer Women’s Project
The Newcomer Women’s Project (NWP) at VIRCS aims to support and serve newcomer, immigrant and refugee women in the Greater Victoria area (18+), through trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive case management services, referral information and services, community initiatives, and educational workshops focused on mental health, wellness, and safety.

Digital Literacy for BIPOC Seniors (55+)
The Newcomers Seniors Empowerment Program is a new initiative developed to support older adults in building digital literacy, increasing community engagement, and fostering independence in an increasingly technology-based world. This program is made possible through generous funding from the District of Saanich and is coordinated by VIRCS.
The program is designed to empower seniors by teaching them how to navigate digital platforms confidently ranging from basic smartphone use to accessing online health services and government information. We also aim to reduce social isolation and enhance community connectedness through both virtual and in-person events.
