Farjeel Javed is a digital transformation and public sector innovation leader with over 16 years of experience working across Canada, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. With a strong academic foundation in computer security and information systems from the United States, Farjeel has led strategic technology and governance initiatives for governments, development agencies, and public institutions. His work spans healthcare, education, digital inclusion, and citizen services—focusing on projects that improve accessibility, transparency, and equity.
Currently serving as Director of Digital Reporting Operations at the B.C. Ministry of Health, Farjeel oversees enterprise data platforms that support evidence-informed decision-making across the province’s health system. He previously led national digital governance programs, advised ministries on inclusive service delivery, and partnered with global agencies such as USAID, The World Bank, GIZ, and the KfW Development Bank to support public service transformation in underserved regions.
Farjeel brings deep expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and technology-enabled service delivery. Throughout his career, he has prioritized community impact, from developing digital education strategies, to implementing national health information systems, to enhancing access to agricultural support for rural populations. Outside of work, Farjeel enjoys biking, cooking, exploring local cuisine, and taking road trips. He values opportunities to connect with people from different cultures and communities, both professionally and personally.
